“Truth is Treason”

In a free society we’re supposed to know the truth,” Paul said. “In a society where truth becomes treason, then we’re in big trouble. And now, people who are revealing the truth are getting into trouble for it.”

Now I know this quote is a couple of years old, and about Wiki leaks, but somehow it applies here as it concerns The Rat and The Roach[okay,[Romney and Ryan].  They have sent the Stooge out again.  Just look at what they have her saying now after VP Joe Biden’s truthful comments.  You could say they were a little strong, but they were the truth.  There is just no use kidding ourselves what Rat/Roach really wants for America.  When he stands and looks out at his supporters and the real American public he sees not working America, he sees criminals that need to be punished with more taxes and poverty.  He sees dangerous parasites and leeches preparing to strike at the heart and soul of the Great American System that put them where they are now.   More about this later, now back to the Stooge, aka Andrea “Stooge”Saul.
What was so terrible about what Vice President Biden said:
They’ve said it.  Every Republican’s voted for it.  Look at what they they value and look at their budget and what they’re proposing.  Romney wants to let the — he said in the first 100 days, he’s going to let the big banks once again write their own rules — unchain Wall Street,” Biden said.  “They’re going to put y’all back in chains. He’s said he going to do nothing about stopping the practice of outsourcing.”
Republicans have spoken for these 2 years and more to the need to “unshackle” the private sector from regulations.  Mind you the private sector, meaning the citizens, working class families, women, blacks, illegal immigrants, immigrants, and poor people remain shackled to high taxes, joblessness, and poverty.
Their record speaks for itself:  the war on women, voter suppression, personhood bills, heartbeat bills and you see the compulsion to return women, blacks and immigrants to lives of slavery, chained and shackled to the whims of white rich men.
And the Stooge response:
After weeks of slanderous and baseless accusations leveled against Gov. Romney, the Obama campaign has reached a new low, the Stooge said. The commends made by the vice president of the United States are not acceptable in our political discourse and demonstrate yet again that the Obama campaign will say and do anything to win this election.
When Obama backed Biden the Stooge said:
In case anyone was wondering just how low President Obama could go in his campaign for reelection, we now know he’s willing to say that Governor wants to put people back in chains, Whether it’s accusing Mitt Romney of being a felon, having been responsible for a woman’s tragic death or now wanting to put people in chains, there’s no question that because of the president’s failed record he’s been reduced to a desperate campaign based on division and demonization.
Felon?  The Rat did that to himself.  Won’t release tax returns, so he must be hiding something he doesn’t want anyone to know.  Responsible for a woman’s tragic death?  I didn’t hear that.  It said no health insurance to help his wife during this illness.  He lost his job thanks to the Rat.  She, herself said:
“If people had been in Massachusetts, under Governor Romney’s health care plan, they would have had health care,” said Saul
All the Rat/Roach campaign can do is lie.  If they were even remotely to consider telling the truth it would be treason.  Truth is something that the Republican party has no interest in. They are incapable of doing so.    Hubris.  Narcissism.
I for one am so tired of their self-serving, self-indulgent, selfish and self-righteous outrage and lies.  They have no comprehension of what the truth is.  The Rat just lies.  It is what the Rat does every day of his life, on purpose, as a matter of policy, and a perfect expression of everything he stands for.

A Lesson For Romney and The Republican Southern Strategy

This morning was an object lesson in inhumanity.  This is what it seems that Republicans and the Christian Right advocate.  Hatred for anyone and everyone.  They will tell you that guns don’t kill people, people kill people.  That is a lie.  Greed and superiority are paramount.  It seems that their premise is to eliminate   by any means necessary.  I am not accusing them of murder, but I am accusing them of being accessories, giving them the means without reason to do harm.  They don’t care.  It has been evident for years.

Watch and listen to this video from a movie from 1940.  It is what we are supposed to be.  If we are just talk without action, then we deserve what we get.

Christian Right Theocracy

This is a post I have been thinking about for days.  I have been thinking about this since I read an op-ed in my local newspaper entitled “Liberals expressing fear of theocracy again.”  The author argues that we should not be afraid of the conservative movement and the religious right.  That we are making an error in respect to the religious right. That we look at Christian conservatism and see a host of legitimately problematic tendencies:  grandiose ambitions, apocalyptic enthusiasms and fiery speech.  We should not be afraid, that Christian extremism is not on the march again.  The man has lost his mind.  It makes one wonder in what universe he has been living in for the last two years or more.

Now we have the Value Voter Summit.  It has the appearance of a good old fashion Klan meeting.

These are people who read the Constitution and Bible and obsess over the parts they like and ignore the parts they don’t like.  What they are telling us is that we have no right to religious freedom under the First Amendment unless of course we accept their version.   I am sure they mean non-christian religions, but I know they mean everyone.  Christianity is only valid if you follow their values.  They hate everyone.

I fully expect that God will make his presence known. A ventriloquist throwing his voice from the beyond.  Can’t you just hear that slow, low, deep voice saying “You have come here to receive the word, and the word is , well you can find the word in my Racism For Dummies or The Bigots Handbook.  All available at a discounted price for value voters.  Complimentary t-shirts to the first 1000. Sign up for my newsletter at Godbigotry.heaven.”

The Christian Right has permeated every part of lives.  If you are Christian, their kind of hate based Christian you don’t belong.  You can even find the love of your life online at ChristianMingle.com.  I am not saying that they are associated with any hate group, but I find it ludicrous that there even is such a site.  It implies that if you aren’t christian you won’t find love.  It suggests that you are not intelligent enough to know what you are looking for.  Their website promotes all the bible verses, belief in God, etc.   The days are gone  when your parents said  you can’t date or marry unless he is a christian, Greek, Irish, Buddhist, Muslim.  Why must you marry within your race, religion or gender.  “Are you single and Christian? Are you waiting for God to make the right choice for you? Find God’s match for you.”  It is on their website.  I am not necessarily saying that that is a bad thing.  I am just saying that it insults my intelligence and violates my freedom.  I don’t need God or the religious right to choose my friends, love, religion, for me.  God gave me free will so I could choose for myself. Now mind you they only ask if you are christian and single.  They do not ask are you straight, gay or lesbian.  If what they write is true, then you/anyone should be able to get a date and find love.  Does it not tantalize the imagination?

Then of course we have the get out jail free pass.  Church or jail.  Now you would have to be an idiot to pass that up.  Thirty days in church is better than jail.  Naturally the courts will strike it dead as they should.  There is no state sanctioned religion.  Violates the First Amendment.  But you can pretend to be christian as they do and stay out of jail for now.

I am not a value voter.  I will never be their kind of value voter.   The God I pray to does not condone violence, hatred, bigotry and killing.  The God I pray to is not a member of a hate group.  The only handbook he has is the Bible, the entire Bible.  Not just parts of the Bible that suit my purpose.  I do not bribe God.  I do not lie to God.  I do not pretend to be a Christian.

God Is Shrinking: Republicans Want to Save God

Republicans need a lesson

Republicans have gone and found religion.  Which in and of itself is amazing, since they have professing that they care Christians from the get go.  I have found that they use religion and their faith in the context that it can win you votes.  Can they quote the Bible?  Can they express their profound love of God.  They acquired their religion from Pat Robertson, Dr. Laura and Glenn Beck.  We all know that these individuals are true Christians and practice their faith each and every day.  They are perfect role models of Christianity.

This is in some way a new phenomenon.  Yes, it is true that lobby the Christian Right, but until now they have not openly stated that they found God and are Christians.  They finally came out of the closet.

Listen to Rep. Jim DeMint.  We can save God from shrinking, by shrinking government.  Imagine.  “America works, freedom works, when people have that internal gyroscope that comes from a belief in God and Biblical faith. Once we push that out, you no longer have the capacity to live as a free person with the external controls of an authoritarian government. We’ve found we can’t set up free societies around the world because they don’t have the moral underpinnings that come from Biblical faith.

They have the nerve to speak about morality.  God is a handy tool for the liars to use when they are in need of money for their political chest, or to strike so called terror in the hearts of all the heathens, that means us.  Politicians and talking heads are the holders of morality and Christianity.

Gingrich found God after he suspiciously realized how passionately he felt about this country.  We all know how that all turned out.  He sinned against first and second wives.  Holding the hand of his first in a hospital bed, while preparing to divorce her and marrying his new love.  I guess after the second wife, he was compelled to seek God’s forgiveness.  He did not seek out repentance. After all, religious fundamentalism in the party is now a central question for reformers Gingrich instead of making any case for a new enlightenment, has in fact gone to great lengths to placate Christian conservatives.  We are going into an election mode, and we must find God.  Newt compares himself to King David and his adultery.  King David  said to God “Against you alone, I have sinned and done what is evil in your sight.” Can you imagine Newt, DeMint, Beck or Robertson or Ingram saying anything remotely confessional?  Gingrich is trying to be forgiven while using the “Patriotism” and “overworking as excuses. He made himself a ludicrous spectacle, a joke.

Beck has used his God as a weapon.  The Caliphate is coming. We have forgotten God and so we are doomed.  He reads the Bible as truth in all parts of it.  Jed Bartlett needs to speak to him and set him straight.

If being against the war is unpatriotic then I am unpatriotic. If I say that my God is a God of peace and love then I know I am better than Beck and all the rest who use and find  God for political and monetary advancement.

Religion is flawed only because men are flawed-all men.
