No one can be surprised by this. It is what she does best..quitting. Half-wit, half-governor and half-bus tour. Of course she quit. The important thing is it is a lesson the “lamestream media” should learn from, if she doesn’t give you an itinerary, and you stop following the bus, she just simply will go get lost. She gave it up as she does all things, a message from God perhaps. Her vacation was finished and halfway through like all her so-called activities that are not giving birth.
She wasn’t getting any attention for weeks now from the people she hates, the lying media. Still, that media, even though it took them weeks to notice she wasn’t blogging found her out. Ironically, it was her employer that let it out first. Imagine it. Again, Palin does her patented attack on the media.
Imagine our surprise when reading media reports today that the “One Nation Tour” has been cancelled. Why didn’t anyone tell me? Oh, wait, that’s because it hasn’t been cancelled. (Good ol’ media… you never cease to amaze!)
As I said myself at the end of the east coast leg of the tour, the summer is long, and I’m looking forward to hitting the open road again. The coming weeks are tight because civic duty calls (like most everyone else, even former governors get called up for jury duty) and I look forward to doing my part just like every other Alaskan.
I wouldn’t think it to be such a slow news day that, what with numerous wars and serious economic woes concerning Americans, a bus is driving news stories today. The next leg of the tour continues when the time comes. In the meantime, no one should jump to conclusions – certainly not the media with their long track record of getting things wrong or just making things up.
Now, it is heartwarming that she has found her “civic duty.” Where was it when it really counted? Did she not have a civic duty to the people who elected her governor? But really jury duty? Wait a minute!!!! It could be true, but I find it a convenient excuse. And what better excuse than civic responsibility? She would give up her publicity tour for jury duty? Please. How better to steal media attention from the real issues that affect real people? If she is not running for President, then what is she running for? Or, what is she running from?
It would have been fun to see her travel to Georgia. I would have enjoyed her retelling of history once again; how Sherman marched through Georgia, shooting guns and ringing bells telling the people of Atlanta that they would be secure in their person. How they would be saved. Instead, she has gone home to Alaska, about which the people of Arizona, specifically Scottsdale, are jumping for joy.
She has lost interest in her tour because she is not important to the American people. One day she will realize that she is not going to changes lives.
Poor girl needs a vacation from her “vacation.” Call it jury duty, call it Bristol’s book, or anything else you like. It’s just a euphemism for salmon fishing or watching your own reality show; “Sarah Palin’s Alaska.
This just in: She is the global quitter of the world. Sarah Palin cancels the trip to Sudan because Greta Van Susteren can’t go. The Sudan doesn’t exist. All is well with the world, all is back to normal. Khartoum? Yes, I love Khartoums. Growing up I watched Bugs Bunny.
Palin was called home for jury duty. Let’s hope she is convicted.
